1. Docs

Summary

The design team met with mentors to discuss the robot design and strategic defenses to take on. Notebook software and ways were discussed. Field element building began.

Changes

The notebook will no longer be primarily sourced on Microsoft OneDrive. Online products that have easily-accessible repositories are being looked at, in addition to team communication methods.

Decisions

The notebook will no longer be primarily sources on Microsoft OneDrive.

Concerns

Robot design has not been agreed upon. Online products for notebook still being considered.

2. Field Elements

Summary

Little work begun. Materials taken out in preparation for building defenses after design team decides type of robot.

Decisions

Tent was set up with mentor Sam Rice's help for sun and rain protection.

Concerns

To begin building platforms.

3. Hardware

Summary

Little work was done on the hardware. Members are to begin brainstorming possible parts that need to be purchased later this week.

Concerns

Chassis has not begun building process because wheel sizes and mechanism still undecided - 6 inch versus 12 inch.

4. Software

Summary

Goals and issues were recorded on the Pantherbotics Github, which has been shared with all members of the software team. Some code will be reused from last year, other code will be new.

Concerns

Josh Freedman raised the question of whether to make this year's robot command-based, which would result in an event-based system, or multi-threaded like last year's robot, which would be a more simple system.
